Sales & Marketing Manager
Work Location: Bandung

Role Summary/Purpose: 
Demonstrates accountability of Sales for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Integrates and develops processes that meet business needs across the organization. Involved in long-term planning

Essential Responsibilities Candidate of this role should have the ability to:

Sales: Responsible for driving Gas Turbine (GT) / Generator or Industrial Repair Orders, Sales and CM growth. Have an ownership and manages the ITO Sales strategy / process for GT / Generator / Industrial Repairs opportunities including: identifying GT / Generator / Industrial Repairs via customer visits, walking customer sites / developing Repairs scopes and costing, managing the Policy 5.0 approval process, generating Repairs proposals / pricing, delivering customer proposals and negotiating / closing Repairs orders. Interfaces with PG Sales Managers, Repair Service Managers, Commercial Operations Team and Shop Specialists as part of an integrated Local Customer Team to grow GT / Generator / Industrial Repairs in the Region. Teams with Sales and Commercial Operations on complex, multi-offering transactions that may include Parts, Services, Up rates and Repairs. Identify new opportunities and create sales analysis for the assigned region. Owns Repairs ITO to OTR handoff (opening letter).

Marketing: Leads deal strategy development and reviews, ultimately obtaining appropriate approvals for pricing, delivery and other commercial terms for GT / Generator / Industrial Repairs proposals. Develop collaboration channel strategies, campaign plans, and show leadership in their execution. Integrate information, resources, and activities within the region and/or among global regions. Customer satisfaction evaluation, plans, and follows through. Build channel relationship for the purpose of Business Development, Sales & Marketing. Develop mutual relationships within channels & end-customers at all levels, understands decision-making process, and develop strategies to win profitable business from those customers. Integrate and lead the technical support team, including contracts, finance, product support, and others in the implementation of customer strategies. Demonstrate account leadership, plans, and action to assure that the Company wins profitable business and services sales within the assigned channels and customers. Maintains knowledge of market trends, customer requirements, competitor actions, and customer base. Good vision of market dynamics, able to set priorities. Develop new products and services for business growth. Utilizes the Repairs Quoting Tool.

Qualifications/Requirements: 
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent. Minimum 5 years sales & marketing experience in a Senior Sales & Marketing position within instrumentation and control industry with extensive product and technical experience. Healthy business acumen and ability to lead in securing orders. Willing to be located in Bandung, Indonesia.

Field Applications Engineer
Work Location: Jakarta

Essential Responsibilities 
Proactively promote and position GE technology (Gas and Steam Turbines, Aero, Wind, IGCC, Jenbacher, Solar and other Energy Business Products and Services) early in the project phase to create value and influence by working closely with consultants, Developers, & customers . Provide technical expertise to Sales & Commercial Operations in selecting, implementing, and developing competitive turbine product applications and power generation solutions. Estimate GE equipment and system performance, hardware, and price for budgetary estimates. Assess competitive system performance & hardware evaluation throughout the entire bid process. Identify customer's needs (New Product Introduction) and communicate it back to the GE businesses. Perform cycle & equipment comparisons to establish economically optimum/GE preferred cycle & configuration with involvement of and communication to the commercial teams & application engineers. Respond to various technical questions regarding Power Generation products and systems solutions to retain and expanding customer's interests and achieve their technical credibility. Participate from technical sales perspective in customer presentations, discussions, negotiations, conferences, and all front line marketing/sales efforts and being a catalyst in problem-solving. Participate in the development and execution of CLP training programs, coaching & mentoring. Train sales force to empower with the latest technical knowledge and information.

Qualifications/Requirements: 
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Minimum 2 years Gas turbine and combined cycle product knowledge. Minimum of five years experience in engineering or systems work areas associated with electrical power systems, mechanical thermal systems or controls and operation. Minimum 2 years operational experience in a power plant or industrial utility. Green Belt Certified (GE Employees only). Must be willing to travel.

Desired Characteristics MBA or advanced Engineering Degree. Prior experience with customer specifications review, proposal development, and contract development and negotiations. *Demonstrated expertise in thermal power generation cycle analysis. Experience with Cycle Deck, GT-Pro, Gate Cycle, or APPS or Wind Software. Knowledge of power plant scope and utility economics. Experience in commercial environment with sales, marketing, application engineering or customer service. Certified Master Black Belt or Black Belt (GE Employee only)

Work Traits: High motivation level, self-starter with strong leadership and negotiation skills. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills (technical papers/books, patents, formal presentations).

Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP)
Work Location: Pulau Batam
Role Summary/Purpose: 
OMLP accelerates development of entry-level talent and produces leaders capable of meeting the challenges facing the Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality functions at GE. OMLP is a 2 year program that allows members to build leadership and functional skills through challenging rotational assignments and world-class training. Program members are also involved in GE's strategic initiatives-including GE's drive for LEAN Six Sigma.

Essential Responsibilities ·The GE Operations Management Leadership Program combines broad exposure to core Supply Chain and Services job assignments along with formal classroom studies · Due to the rotational nature of the Program, a member will typically complete three to four assignments over a two-year period, each approximately six to eight months in length that cut across different aspects in manufacturing processes, products and services. · Program members will also receive applicable technical and business training to compliment their rotational on-the-job training · Typically a program member will have a supervisory, technical, sourcing and production / materials management assignment while on program · Collaborate with Assignment Leader in setting and achieving realistic and challenging operation goals · Plan and perform assigned tasks within the framework of areas' schedules, budget, quality and cost constraints while maintaining accuracy and thoroughness in results · Demonstrate ability to understand and apply operational and technical fundamentals in the business environment using analytical and problem solving skills · Develop cooperation and teamwork while leading diverse groups in the development and implementation of team goals · Generate innovative ideas and apply change best practices to ensure impact of key initiatives · Complete Technical training in areas such as Contemporary Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain Management, Six Sigma Quality training with Greenbelt Certification, Environmental Health & Safety · Complete business training in topics such as Project Management and team leading
