  Fixed Equipment/Inspection Engineers

Job Location: Singapore

Responsibilities:
Plan and carry out fixed equipment/piping inspection via on-stream risk-based monitoring programs and downtime inspection activities
Advise business teams/units on inspection program findings and recommend appropriate solutions for corrosion issues, to ensure safe and reliable operation of equipment
Investigate equipment failure and recommend cost-effective methods of repair and material selection
Execute quality assurance in engineering designs for projects and inspections on project/construction and maintenance works, in accordance with industry standards
Maintain effective working relationships and communication with business teams/units, to eliminate or minimize material and corrosion issues
Monitor latest developments in inspection/materials and corrosion technology, via inter-affiliate technology transfers, network communications and meetings
Maintain effective Inspection Data Management system and filing system, including periodic updates
Develop and update piping and fixed equipment strategy as leading indicators for reliability
Perform Level-1 Fitness assessments and analyses for Service Engineering
Troubleshoot equipment failures and provide recommendation for repairs

Requirements:
A good Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University
Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in the petrochemical or a similar industry
An effective team player with strong communication & interpersonal skills
Familiarity with major equipment ASME & API codes for pressure vessel, piping and tankage will be an added advantage

Electrical Engineers
Job Location: Singapore

Responsibilities:
Provide engineering expertise support to the Singapore manufacturing complex for safe and reliable operations
Provide engineering assessment, engineering design, plant troubleshooting and equipment failure root cause analysis
Provide engineering solutions to problems in specific field
Provide engineering expertise support for project managed by ExxonMobil Engineering Manufacturing Singapore(EMMES) for the Singapore manufacturing complex
Provide support for major shutdown maintenance or major equipment maintenance work. ie. planned shutdown or GTGs major inspection
Participate in electrical network activities as required

Requirements:
A good Electrical Engineering Degree from a recognised university with a major in Power Engineering
Minimum 3 years of work experience in the petrochemical or chemical manufacturing industry
Practical experience and good knowledge in medium voltage and low voltage electrical power distribution equipment, protection relay, variable speed drive and motor application
Practical experience in electrical power system study, which includes load flow study, short circuit study and relay coordination
An effective team player with good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
A self-starter who is able to work effectively with minimum supervision
